One of our St Augustine favourites! Fantastic food, and service is always great. Love sitting outside to watch the water.

The Mahi Sandwich immaculate. I very rarely go to seafood restaurants but today when you get a chance to go to a place like Aunt Kate's, it's hard to pass up. I ordered the grilled Mahi and I think that might be the best way to order it. It was grilled and seasoned perfectly and the lettuce, tomato, and pickle complemented the sandwich very well. The fires were also crispy and seasoned to perfection. The only knock on this place was it took a while for the food to come out but I won't hold that against them too much. I was with a very large party so that probably isn't the case for smaller parties. Also ordered the fried calamari and that was a perfect appetizer. Very tender and the sauce that came with it was great as well. Oh and how could I forget the bread that came with our meal. Very unique but the pumpkin bread was easily my favorite. You never see pumpkin bread served at a restaurant. Definitely come here if you are in St. Augustine.

We have been wanting to stop in and check this place out while in the area, it's definitely a five star location, what a beautiful restaurant sitting on the river bank. We arrived late morning on Saturday and it was packed with customers, they had some kind of themed event going on but we decided to enter from the porch and immediately found an empty bar inside so we grabbed a few stools after being greeted by the bartender. She dropped off a few menus and we ordered drinks - after reading a few reviews from my fellow Yelpers we decided to stick with a cocktail and an appetizer- I asked for a recommendation and she volunteered that the gator is popular but its frozen from a box but the coconut fried shrimp are fresh and hand breaded in house and served with an orange sauce. The margarita was really good and packs a punch even without a floater, the draft beer was cold but served in a plastic cup so drink up, in my opinion this place needs a giant outdoor tiki bar (I may have never left). I definitely made a great choice picking the coconut fried shrimp which I rarely choose, this was an amazing appetizer and a very generous portion of large butterflied shrimp served hot from the kitchen with a citrus orange sauce which was delicious. The service at the bar was really good, the bar tender engaged us in some positive conversation during our entire stay. After leaving the restaurant we checked out the fishing piers and did a little people watching before leaving - it's definitely got some of that "Old Florida Charm" going for it which we love...

This is our second time here, first time was a drink by boat. The views from the back patio are exceptional, the inside is your standard fried fish restaurant. For drinks, we ordered their IPA available and the Uncle Dave's lemonade (very refreshing). The kitchen was extremely slow....extremely. With that being said, our server (Miley) was excellent, kind to our daughter, and brought us table bread while we waited. Once we got the food, it was honestly better than I expected. The fried mushroom appetizer was one of the best fried mushrooms we've had. For dinner, we had the blackened fish tacos (yum!) and the blackened fish sandwich (also yum!). The side we enjoyed most was the black beans and rice. All in all, we like this place and will be back.

What a hidden gem. I cannot believe it has taken me so long to discover this spot. Seafood was fresh and sooooo good, service was even better. We wanted for nothing and had a fantastic time. Loved that we were right on the water for a nice walk down the dock after eating. Definitely made for great pics on a sunny day. This place screams Florida vibes and I love it!!

Food was excellent, a variety of seafood as well as the things you'd usually expect from restaurants (sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc). We had a seafood platter, gator tail, fish dip, and a brownie sundae. Each of them were great the seafood was delicious and the brownie was hot with a cold scoop on top. We went with our dogs and sat outdoors, which allowed us to witness a beautiful sunset over the intercoastal. The hostess and waitress were both friendly and helpful, giving suggestions where asked and quick to assist with any requests.

I had Aunt Kate's on my mind, so on my way home from my stay in Vilano Beach for three days, I came by here for a delicious shrimp lunch. The highlight of my visit was ANDREW! I am so glad he waited on me. He did a great job in making me feel comfortable and I never wanted for any. He brought anything I needed, before I had to ask him. He is a true asset to this Restaurant. The ambiance and sitting outside on the water is always a plus. I love the music they play. Sometimes they have a Musician performing here on the outside deck. The food always rocks the house here. I've never had a bad meal here. If you're ever in the area or make a special trip here, you won't be disappointed.

If you can catch those colorful umbrellas on the patio first and than the floating docks while strolling along Tolomoto River it's Aunt Kates. A long time staple of the area for fresh local seafood while enjoying beautiful water views. A place with great prompt service and menu. Our starter was a mixed bread basket for the season with pumpkin and jalapeños cornbread. Within our 6 many ordered seafood entrees like Coconut Shrimp but all I could see was that Mac n Cheese side. Yum. The Cole slaw was fresh and so enjoyable as my side. They offer a nice line up of cocktails which you can take back on the boat with you also if you want a second one to go, winner! I would tie up my boat or park my car here anytime.
